A focused rollout of two or three apps for a single company usually runs eight to fourteen weeks from kickoff to go-live. Multi-company, multi-warehouse, or manufacturing projects with significant custom development typically run four to nine months. The two things that move the date most are the state of your existing data and how many processes you insist on keeping exactly as they are today.
Community is free and open source and covers CRM, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, point of sale and eCommerce, so plenty of businesses run on it happily. Enterprise is a paid per-user subscription that adds full accounting, Studio, Helpdesk, Field Service, the official mobile apps, and Odoo's own hosting and upgrade service. We size it honestly — if none of the Enterprise-only apps map to something you actually need, we will tell you Community is enough.
